Good morning, I hope you’re all well out there and you had a good Easter break last month? Did any of you manage to get away for a break with your families or did your kids football take priority as they just couldn’t miss a session? Well, that’s how it was in our house but we made the most of it and once football training was done we ensured we got our for the day as soon as it had finished. Also great to see your own as well as your husband’s family over the holidays and no surprises we even had a giant family football game.
As mentioned in my blog last month, Chris my husband went on a futsal course through his football club where he coaches. He reckons he knew the basics before he went on the all day course on a Sunday, I’m not so sure. Therefore I thought I’d find out more because I know absolutely nothing about it whatsoever. What does it involve then as I just thought it was like indoor 5-a-side with a heavier ball. Apparently not, hah.
To begin with Chris was on the course with around twenty five other men and the course was taken by two official FA ladies who were fully qualified. They were in the classroom up until lunch time, so around three hours before doing another three hours in the sports hall learning the basics and what some of the drills were.
Karen.
