Although there is still more than two weeks to go until the 2013/14 football season gets underway, the release of the new fixture list last month got fans across the country excited about another nine months of spectacular drama on the pitch.
However, this season could be a very blue occasion. No we are not talking about being glum, although supporters could be dejected if they are NOT a fan of one of the following clubs who have blue blood running through their veins.
Jose Mourinho and Chelsea reunited
It does not seem like five minutes since Jose Mourinho packed his bags and left Chelsea and Stamford Bridge, yet this actually occurred in September 2007! Almost six years later though and the Special One is back at, arguably, the club where he achieved the most success of his career.
If Chelsea’s 2013/14 home shirt is anything to go by mind, The Blues could be gliding back to the top of English football in style in the seasons to come.
The shirt in question has all the traditional aspects that you have come to expect from a Chelsea home strip – it’s mostly blue for one and is etched with the iconic Adidas stripes. However, CLIMACOOL technology will manage any heat and moisture that is built up during 90 minutes on the pitch.
Pair this shirt up with a pair of Adidas football boots, such as from the stylish range that Millet Sports have on offer right now, and you will soon be playing like Frank Lampard and Oscar on your local football field.
